One Down,One To Go and By The Way

As many of you know, we have been working on a couple of home improvement projects. One of them was finally completed. Thanks to SK Contractors, we now have new ceramic tile in the Kitchen and Upstairs Bath. While we having that done, they also installed some very nice thick and soothing to the feet carpet.

Next project is a gas fireplace/mantle dealio. Commencement date is still unknown even though we have the order and paid the deposit.

By the way, Molly and I each had one image accepted in the Annual Framations Photography contest. The contest is Beyond the Lens XII: A Photography Exhibit.

There is an opening reception this Friday night and the exhibition runs January 26 through March 1, 2018. Unfortunately, we will not be in attendance. Molly is under the weather and we are playing it safe and staying in the warm confines of home base.

  1. Great competition images and best of luck in the show! Wow! Molly, hope you feel better soon and so happy for you both that the carpeting and ceramic tile are in place. Nothing like the feeling of walking barefoot on new carpeting!

    Cheers,
    Carolyn

    • We look forward to the day that you can test the carpet by using your regal barefooted tootsies on it.
Thanks for the phone call last night– Molly is feeling better.

  2. Steller images. love the tonal quality and vintage appearance of both. Keep up the good work supervising the remodeling and shooting of course! We have two gas ventless fireplaces and use them daily. Love the smell and warmth of wood but the convenience of instant fire and warmth is wonderful at my age.

    • Hey Wayne
After duck hunting for more years than I care to admit, WARM is something I think very highly of at my age also.
The unit we ordered will heat the entire house and has a thermostat and remote– technology at its finest eh?
I sure hope that the fireplace project happens before spring LOL.
